Strict design language that is soft and welcoming at the same time. Solis is an oil lamp where the flame and its light get full focus. The concave lid surrounding the wick reflects the flame and enhances its beautiful glow. The designer Søren Refsgaard has played with the opposites of material and form in his design. The lamp is made of aluminum, a choice of material that refers to Stelton's design DNA, and through its organic shape, Refsgaard has given the Solis oil lamp a softness that is not normally associated with metal. The Solis oil lamp consists of two parts, a holder and a lid that fit together to the millimetre. A result of Stelton's experience with the material and the pursuit of precision. On the underside of the oil lamp there is a notch, through which you can lift the oil lamp and separate the two parts. The light source of the Solis oil lamp is 100% vegetable oil candles sold separately.
